Bomi Senator-Elect Vows To Prioritize Unity, Development

By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, January 7 (LINA) - Bomi County Senator-elect Morris Gato Saytumah has promised to prioritize unity and development, and called on citizens to put aside their differences to move the county forward.

Saytumah observed that after a tense election, it is only right that the people of Bomi make reconciliation the major priority if the county must move to higher levels.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency in Tubmanburg recently,

Saytumah said he will work collaboratively with members of the Legislative Caucus in achieving the county’s development agenda.

When asked about the Supreme Court’s Stay Order placed on his certification, Saytumah noted that he remains the senator-elect of the county while the Supreme Court is hearing the complaint filed against him by the National Patriotic Party (NPP).
