Rep. Paye Applauds Senator Taylor’s Re-election

By Ballah Kollie, LINA Bong County Correspondent

GBARNGA, January 7 (LINA) – Bong County Representative Lester Paye says the re-election of Senator Jewel Howard Taylor signifies victory for the best candidate in the recent Mid-term Senatorial Election.

He said re-electing Senator Taylor from among 13 candidates in a competitive democratic process speaks volumes about her capacity, and expressed his preparedness to work with the elected lawmaker to develop Bong County.

Addressing youths in Gbarnga recently, Representative Paye noted: “Lessons learned from the recent mid-term Senatorial Elections show that it is not the multitude that holds high one’s hands, but those who sincerely lend their support to them.”

He challenged Senator Taylor to be available to citizens across the county by paying them regular visits, noting that she did not do much of that during her first term.
