Borlorla Gets First Islamic School

KAKATA, Feb 3 (LINA) - The Commissioner of Borlorla Township, Gibi District in upper Margibi County has disclosed that construction work on an Islamic school has been completed in Sanga Colo Town, Borlorla Township in Margibi County.

Commissioner James Weetor told the Liberia News Agency at the weekend that the construction of the six classroom elementary school was funded through the Legislative Support Project supervised by the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).

The school is the first of its kind in the area and will host over 200 children of school-going age in Sanga town.

Commissioner Weetor did not say the cost of the school.

He also disclosed that ongoing projects in the Township include the Yarnwuellie Town Hall and a school located in Doukao Woo Town, which are nearing completion.

He said funding for all of the projects comes from the Legislative Support Project supervised by the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).
