Cape Mount Approves US$79K For Roads

By D. Ignatius Roberts, Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, Feb 3 (LINA) - The administration of Grand Cape Mount County has approved a budget of over US$79,000 to rehabilitate roads in the county.

Grand Cape Mount County Assistant Superintendent for Development, Madame Tenneh Simpson Kpedebah said roads are being constructed and rehabilitated to connect towns, villages and cities in the county to ensure the free movement of people and goods and services.

Superintendent Kpedebah told the Liberia News Agency (LINA) over the weekend that funding for the projects will come from the County Development Fund allotted in the 2013-2014 national budget.

She said the current administration of the county has prioritized road connectivity for the betterment of the county and its citizens.

Meanwhile, Madame Kpedebah has urged citizens of the county to refrain from vices that might create disunity among them and derail development of the county.
