Senator Dargoseh Warns Citizens Against Reversing Ebola Gain
By Wilfred Gortor/LINA

MONROVIA, December 30 (LINA)-Grand Cape Mount County Senator Edward Dargoseh has warned citizens of the county against complacency which
could reverse the gains made in the Ebola fight and promote the spread of the deadly virus.

Dargoseh said if people continue acts of self-satisfaction that could further spread the Ebola virus, more lives would be claimed.

He made the statement at a meeting between the Incident Management System and the Grand Cape Mount County Health Team held in Sinje, Grand Cape Mount County on Monday.

Dargoseh also appealed to religious and traditional communities in the county to refrain from practices, especially rituals involving the burial of the dead.

“Prevent yourself so that together we can all preserve Grand Cape Mount County, it is the only county that we have and if we continue to be complacent we will not win this fight any time soon,” Dargoseh noted.

He called on the government and partners to focus their responsive efforts on the county so that the recent outbreak in the county cannot
overwhelm the system.

Grand Cape Mount, according to reports from the Ministry of Health (MOH), is currently next to Montserrado County in terms of Ebola

The County has a population of a ittle over 129,000, and also shares a common border with neighboring Sierra Leone which is currently the hardest  Ebola hit country in the Mano River Union.
