LBDI Reopens Cape Mount Branch
By D. Ignatius Roberts, LINA Grand Cape Mount Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, December 10 (LINA) – The Liberia Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI) on Tuesday reopened its branch in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County.

The Bank was temporarily closed on November 15, 2014 when its manager, Stephen Konneh and his driver were placed under quarantine by the County Health Team for coming in contact with a suspected Ebola
patient.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency following the reopening ceremony, Konneh said the closure of the bank created serious economic hardship and embarrassment for customers and the staff.

He apologized to all customers and the general public for the temporary closure of the bank and assured them that the bank will continue to render professional services in accordance with international standards.
