Gbarnga Regional Justice Security HUB Ends Security Meeting In Lofa

VOINJAMA, December 9 (LINA)-The Gbarnga Regional and Justice Security HUB has ended a two-day joint security meeting in Voinjama, Lofa County.
The Manager of the Gbarnga Regional Justice and Security HUB, Mr. Hezekiah Seikor, said the Lofa meeting which brought together officers of the Liberia National Police and the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization (BIN), among others, is part of the HUB’s regular visitation to the three regional counties of Lofa, Bong and Nimba to access security situations there ahead of the pending senatorial election.
Speaking to newsmen over the weekend in Voinjama, Mr. Seikor noted that the HUB remains functional in fighting crime amidst the ongoing fight against Ebola in the region.
According to the Liberia News Agency, the HUB boss disclosed that currently there are additional officers from the Border Patrol Unit of the BIN at the Gbranga Regional Justice Security HUB assigned in the county to handle border security issues.
Meanwhile, Mr. Seikor is calling on residents of towns and villages with porous borders with Guinea and Sierra Leone to cooperate and work collaboratively with security officers during the election period and join in the fight against Ebola in the three counties.
