NICORA To Construct Media Resource Center in Sanniquellie

GANTA, December 9 (LINA) - The president-elect of the Nimba Community Radio Association (NOCORA), Kennedy Domah, has disclosed plans by his leadership to construct a Media Resource Center in the county's political capital Sanniquellie.
Domah said the proposed media resource center will be built in honor of the late Prince Karsieh, a reporter who worked for Radio Sehnwai in Sanniquellie, but died in August 2013 while pursuing higher education at the University of Liberia in Monrovia.
He indicated that construction work on the resource center will begin in the next three months following the completion of negotiations for land in Sanniquellie.
Domah made the disclosure on Monday following his landslide victory by 97.6 percent in the NICORA election held on Saturday , December 6, in Ganta, Nimba County.
30 delegates from 10 community Radio Stations in Nimba County converged at the Vickey Spot in Gleneyeluu Community in Ganta and elected several officials to steer the affairs of the organization
for the next three years.
The elected officials include Johnson Kpaihyelee, Vice President for Administration, Robert Matady, Vice President for Operations and Kennedy Domah, president.
