Vincent Assures Legislature's Support to Vehicle Insurance Scheme
By Calvin Brooks

MONROVIA, Jan 31 (LINA) - Grand Cape Mount County Representative Aaron B. Vincent has reaffirmed the National Legislature's commitment to supporting the compulsory Motor Vehicle Third Party Liability Insurance Scheme in Liberia.

He noted that the scheme will bring relief to Liberians in cases of motor accidents where the insurance companies would assist in shouldering the cost of liabilities.

According to the Liberia News Agency, Representative Vincent made the remarks Friday at programs marking the launch of the Compulsory Motor Vehicle Third Party Liability Insurance Scheme in Monrovia.

He observed that several Liberians have been victims of motor accidents without better treatment from the motor operators and owners, saying this was dangerous for the people.

He assured the Transport Ministry that the Legislature will ensure that the insurance scheme will be enforced according to the law.
