Joint Security Committed To Enforce Curfew

GBARNGA, November 28 (LINA) - Bong County Joint Security Chairman and County Attorney Cornelius Wennah has said the security sector will fully implement all national policies instituted since the Ebola outbreak.

The statement comes in the wake of the observance of violations of the curfew by owners of video clubs, entertainment centers, motorcyclists as well as political campaigners.

He warned violators to refrain from testing the resolve of the Justice Ministry as those national policies remain in force and that the sector will not hesitate to implement them.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency in Gbarnga Friday, Atty. Wennah also vowed to stop citizens from using the Kpatawee Water Fall on Saturdays for social purposes by increasing security patrols at the water fall.

Attorney Wennah noted that despite the reduction in the number of Ebola cases in the country, measures instituted by health authorities to prevent the spread of the Ebola virus remain in force.

He is also urging political campaigners who spend the night outdoors campaigning to abide by the curfew regulation as they could face the law for violating the curfew.
