Cape Mount Health Team Quarantines 377 People

ROBERTSPPORT, November 27 (LINA) –Three hundred and seventy-seven persons have been quarantined in Grand Cape Mount County by the County Health Team (CHT) for allegedly coming in contact with some suspected Ebola patients.

The information was contained in the CHT Surveillance Report submitted at the county’s Ebola Taskforce meeting held in Robertsport on Wednesday by the County Surveillance Officer Samuel Zayzay.

According to Zayzay, the report covers the five districts of the county, including Tewor, Commonwealth, Gola Konneh, Garwula and Porkpa.

He disclosed that the report, which covers November 19 to 25, also records 10 deaths, 15 confirmed cases, 52 persons who completed the 21 days observation period and a total of 13 laboratory results received from Ebola Treatment Units in Monrovia and Tubmanburg.
