Maryland Police Probing Death Of 65-Year-Old Man

HARPER, November 25 (LINA) - Police in Harper, Maryland County, are investigating the death of a 65-year-old man identified as Joseph Tieh.

The body of Tieh was discovered recently hanging in the former residence of the late President William .V. S. Tubman in Harper.

A family source told the Liberia News Agency (LINA) at the scene of the incident that Tieh, who is suspected of hanging himself, died a week after he was discharged from the J. J. Dossen Hospital in Harper.

He was a Kru fisherman from Sasstown and married with one child.
