VOINJAMA, November 17 (LINA) - Lofa County Police Commander J. Tito Lolin has disclosed that the joint security has put in place measures to ensure that the borders with Guinea and Sierra Leone are not infiltrated.

Chief Police Superintendent Lolin revealed that the joint security has incorporated chiefs and elders in various towns and villages on security teams at the various crossing points to ensure that the borders remain secured.

The Lofa County Police boss made the disclosure at the weekend when he appeared on the program “Police and You” on Radio Kintoma in Voinjama
City, Lofa County.

Chief Superintendent Lolin said the measures by the joint security are to prevent a recurrence of the importation of the Ebola virus into the county from a neighboring country.
