Bong Resident Engineer Calls For Logistical Support

By Ballah M. Kollie-Bong County Correspondent

GBARNGA, Jan 29 (LINA) - Bong County Resident Engineer, Emulus Toliver, says the lack of vehicles and other logistics is seriously hampering the effectiveness of the Ministry of Public Works branch in the county.

He told the Liberia News Agency that for a little over two years now, his office has been operating without the needed logistics, making it nearly impossible to effectively perform their work.

Mr. Toliver wants the Public Works Ministry to supply the branch with vehicles, computers and additional manpower.

He commended the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) and other implementing partners in the county for the assistance they continue to render his branch, but wants the ministry to provide the required logistics to enable it function effectively.

He lamented that usually his team rides commercial vehicles or motorcycles to go on assessment.
