By Korboi Gbelewala, Lofa County Correspondent

VOINJAMA, Jan 29 (LINA) - Lofa County Superintendent George Dunor has assured the people of Bulor and Tusu in Quardu Gboni District, Lofa County that the Zogolemai Bulor-Tusu road forms part of development projects earmarked for 2014.

He said Lofa authorities were concerned about the deplorable condition of the road, and assured that in consultation with the Lofa County Legislature Caucus, the road will be reconditioned shortly.

According to the Liberia News Agency, Superintendent Dunor’s assurance is in response to an appeal by citizens in Push Town during the recent funeral of Quardu Gboni District former Clan Chief, Benyan Fofana.

During the appeal the citizens said the road, when reconditioned, would help boost economic and social activities in the area.

In a related development, the citizens have commended the Lofa County Senior Senator, Sumo Kupee, for his immense contributions to several development projects in Quardu Gboni District.

According to LINA, the citizens also described Hon Kupee as “a true son” who does not believe in discrimination based on tribal or religious differences.
