BUCHANAN, November 4 (LINA) - A 100-bed Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) is under construction in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County by personnel of the U.S. Army.

Making the disclosure to journalists in Buchanan Monday, head of team, US Army Major Tony Castillo, said the project is expected to be completed by November 18 and turned over to the government.

Major Castillo disclosed that the U.S. Army has also recruited Liberian contractors to assist in the construction work.

The Buchanan ETU is one of 17 the U.S. Army, working with its Liberian counterpart, is to construct in the 15 counties under a US government project.
