MOH Official Reminds Liberians “Ebola Is Still Here”

By Decontee Wesseh (Intern)

MONROVIA, November 4 (LINA) - The Ministry of Health Contact Tracing Consultant, Dr. Mosoka Fallah, has told Liberians to be mindful that the Ebola virus is still in the country and they must continue to observe all preventive measures.

He observed that most Liberians have returned to their normal lifestyle such as hugging, shaking hands and gathering at beaches, adding, “This act on the part of many people is wrong.”

Speaking at the Information Ministry daily Ebola press briefing on Tuesday in Monrovia, Dr. Fallah said citizens relaxing adherence to preventive measures at this crucial time would make it difficult to eradicate the virus from the country.

“Residents of some communities have stopped washing their hands and have gone back to their normal way of life. This should not be the case,” the Health Ministry official stressed.
