4 Elementary Schools Valued US$180,000 To Be Built In Nimba

SANNIQUELLIE, Nov 2 (LINA)- The local authority of Nimba County has signed contractual agreements with four construction companies to construct four elementary schools in Electoral District #2 in Sanniquellie Administrative District.

On Friday, October 31, the four companies: Origin Construction Company, Liberia Reconstruction Group Incorporated,  Jireh Construction Expertise Incorporated, and Textual Accuracy Construction
and Consultancy, signed separate agreements to construct the elementary schools in Gbonnie, Zolowee, Kinnon, and Gehwee Towns.

The acting Project Management Committee Chairman, Eddie Z. Tenwah, put the cost of the projects at over US$180,000.

According to him, construction of the four schools will be completed in three months in keeping with the contractual agreement.

The Gboa Gehwee project is funded from the BhP Billiton affected communities 20 per cent allocation, while the Kinnon, Zolowee, and Gbonie projects are funded from the Arcelor Mittal Social Development Fund 20 per cent allocation for the most affected communities.

Superintendent Fong Zuagele who signed te agreement for the Nimba County administration, said the contracts satisfied PPCC procedures and would be closely monitored
