LNRCS Provides Relief Items To Ebola Survivor
By D. Ignatius Roberts, Grand Cape Mounty County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, Nov 2 (LINA)-The Liberia National Red Cross Society (LNRCS) Grand Cape Mount County Chapter has donated several assorted
relief items to an Ebola survivor, Umo Fahnbulleh.

According to the Liberia News Agency, (LINA) correspondent in the county, the donation was made recently at Fahnbulleh’s Uptown Community residence in Robertsport by the Grand Cape Mounty County LNRCS Chapter Field Officer, Konah Paul.

Paul said the Chapter decided to make the donation because all of Umo’s belongings have been burned in accordance with the Ministry Health and Social Welfare Ebola regulations.

The Field Officer named items donated as one bag of rice, mats, three sets of lappas, buckets, cups, dishes, two set of pots, blankets and soap.

She said the donation is the Red Cross’ way of identifying with the survivor, and called on other Ebola suspects to emulate the good example of Fahnbulleh and seeking early medical treatment.

Ms. Fahnbulleh was released from the ELWA Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) on August 25, 2014; she was taken to the unit on September 8, 2014.

Receiving the items, Fahnbulleh expressed gratitude to the Red Cross family for the donation, and admonished those who will come down with the signs and symptoms of Ebola to seek immediate treatment for survival.
