Bush Cow Attacks, Injures, Woman in Bokomu District
By Emmanuel Mondaye, LINA Gbarpolu County Correspondent

BOKOMU DISTRICT, Nov 1  (LINA) – A vicious bush cow that has been eluding several hunters in Bokomu District, Gbarpolu County for weeks
recently attacked and severely injured a 45-year-old woman.

Victim Korpo Sarpah was returning home alone from her farm when the beast attacked her and inflicted severe injuries on her both legs, causing her to bleed profusely.

The brother of the victim, James Sarpah, told the Liberia News Agency correspondent over the weekend that a hunter who was on his way to town from a hunting expedition found Sarpah and took her to the Bokomu Health Center, where she is currently undergoing treatment.

James also told LINA that several hunters in Bokomu have tried to hunt down the bush cow to prevent it from attacking other citizens in the district, but are yet to find it.

According to James, this is the fourth time that a bush cow has attacked and injured people in the area, and expressed fear that if it is not killed, the beast could destroy farms and infrastructure in the district.
