MONROVIA October 31(LINA)-President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has said the country will soon overcome the Ebola crisis and the economy will return to full scale operations with the level of coordination between Liberia and the international community.

She said the continued provision of assistance by international partners during this health emergency symbolizes compassion and a demonstration of humanity.

The president made the statement at the official opening of the MOD ETU-One in Congo Town, Monrovia Friday. President Sirleaf observed that the level of partnership, coordination and effective working relationship exhibited provide hope to the nation, noting “your dedication and commitment has transformed our nation into a land of hope.”

She said the international community has not only viewed Liberia’s crisis as a national health problem, but a global disaster which requires collective partnership in an effort to liberate the country.

President Sirleaf then praised healthcare workers for their efforts in working in the interest of the country.

“You have left your homes, your families, and relatives and have dedicated your time to save the lives of Liberians, you are the true champion of this crisis, we applaud you knowing that together we can march into the future of hope,” the president asserted.
