NPA donates materials to Phebe Hospital For Ebola Fight
By Ballah Kollie, LINA Bong County Correspondent

PHEBE, October 29 (LINA) – The National Port Authority (NPA) has donated eight beds and other materials to the Phebe Hospital in Suakoko, Bong County.

Presenting the items over the weekend in Gbarnga, NPA Managing Director Matilda Parker said the materials are intended for use at the newly-constructed isolation center at the hospital.

Madam Parker hoped the Ebola outbreak would be contained soon.

Receiving the items, Bong County Health Officer Dr. Samson K. Arzoaquoi lauded the NPA for the gesture, describing it as “one that has brought relief to the hospital.”

Dr. Arzoaquoi said the center is being used for specialized cases, including holding of suspected Ebola cases, before patients are transferred to the ETU in Suakoko.
