Chief Justice Takes Ebola Awareness To Four Counties

MONROVIA, October 28 (LINA) – Chief Justice,  Francis S. Korkpor, has joined the  fight against the  spread of the Ebola Virus Disease. .

At the head of a judicial delegation, Justice Korkpor visited  Montserrado, Bong, Margibi and Nimba counties at the weekend and donated cartons of Clorox and chlorine for use in hospitals and courts in those counties.

The  Director of Public Information of the Supreme  Court, Singbe Johnson, told LINA that,  the Chief Justice also donated 20 bags of rice to the Ebola Treatment Center in Ganta, Nimba County, for children who lost their parents to the disease.

During the tour, Justice Korkpor also reiterated his call on  magistrates to make maximum use of the law relative to options for  the arrest and detention of accused persons during the Ebola crisis.
