Medical Group  Donates To St. Timothy Gov’t Hospital

ROBERTSPORT, October 27 (LINA) - Medical Teams International ((MTI), an international partner of the Grand Cape Mount County Health Team (CHT), has donated medical supplies and equipment to the St. Timothy Government Hospital in Robertsport, the county seat.

The Liberia News Agency reports that  MTI Representative Oretha Paye made the disclosure at a recent County Ebola Task Force meeting held in Sinje Town..

Paye said the donation included 1,000 pairs of examination gloves, 100 sets of  Personal Protection Equipment (PPEs), 100 pieces of nose masks, 11 pairs of rain boots, 50 pieces of shoe covers, 12 pieces of  heavy duty gloves and 45 bottles of hand sanitizers.

According to Madam Paye, MTI is in the county to buttress the effort of the Grand Cape Mount  County  health team in the fight against the spread of the deadly Ebola virus.

She said MTI is also providing training to district health officers to improve their efficiency in providing services to Ebola patients.
