By David Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent
TUBMANBURG, October 23 (LINA) – A group of citizens of Bomi County called “Citizens Against Ebola” has donated Ebola prevention materials to the Bomi County Health Team (CHT) valued at L$$100,000.
Bomi County Assistant Superintendent for Development, Ernest Gray Davis, told the Liberia News Agency that the citizens recently donated faucet-fitted buckets for hand washing, Clorox, chlorine, soap and sanitizers, among other items.
In a related development, Superintendent Davis has disclosed that citizens of Bomi studying at the Cecil Gabriel Dennis Foreign Service Institute have also donated assorted items, including bags of rice and mattresses to the Bomi County Health Team.
Assistant Superintendent Davis did not say the cost of the materials, but said it was “substantial.”
He indicated that the donations from the two groups are intended to buttress the efforts of the County Health Team in providing needed resources to victims of the Ebola virus.
