By John N. Bropleh, LINA Maryland County Correspondent

HARPER, October 22 (LINA) -The Judicial Officer of the Behwan Magisterial Court in Behwan, Trehn Statutory District in Grand Kru County, Wilmot Sakie, has been found dead in the bush near Behwan Town.

Officer Sakie reportedly left his home Monday morning to cut sticks, only for his body to be found later by a farmer.

A family source told the Liberia News Agency in Harper Tuesday that after the farmer, whose name was not disclosed, reported the matter to authorities, a group of men was dispatched to the scene.

The cause of his death has not been established, but he is believed to have been bitten by a snake because two fresh wounds were discovered on his foot with blood oozing from them.

Meanwhile, Sakie has been buried.
