ROBERTSPORT, October 22 (LINA) -The Medical Teams International (MTI), an international medical group,  has donated 200 gallons of fuel oil to the Grand Cape Mount County Health Team (CHT) to buttress its effort to contain the Ebola  virus.

MTI is partnering with the Grand Cape Mount CHT in curtailing the further spread of the Ebola disease.

MTI Community Health Services Supervisor Oretha Paye made the donation at the County Ebola Taskforce meeting held in Sinje Town, Garwula District in Grand Cape Mount County Wednesday.

Madam Paye told LINA that MTI has also been involved in training health workers in the areas of Infection Protection Control (IPC), sensitization and Ebola treatment and prevention.

She said MTI has also provided training for officers-in-charge (OICs) at health facilities in the county to enable them effectively help stop the spread of the virus.
