Nimba Community College Identifies With Ebola victims
By Wellington G. Patrick, LINA Nimba County Correspondent

SANNIQUELLIE, October 21(LINA) -The Nimba County Community College (NCCC) in Sanniquellie has donated over L$45,000 worth of food and non-food items to Ebola-affected communities in the county.

The donation was made over the weekend by the NCCC administration during a visit to the Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) in Ganta, the homes of quarantined people in Sehkimpa Town and Karnplay City.

During the two-day health-related outreach, the college donated items such as rice, salt, sardines, sanitary tissues and oil, reports the Liberia News Agency.

The president of the college, Dr. Yar Donlah Gonway Gono, said while it is true that the college needs adequate funding to function effectively, it was equally compelling in the spirit of nationalism to identify with citizens affected by the Ebola virus.
