MONROVIA, October 20 (LINA) -The Movement for Labor Rights and Justice (MOLAJ), a local non-governmental organization, has donated anti-Ebola materials to 32 communities in six counties to help break the chain of transmission.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency Monday, MOLAJ Project Adviser, Mr. David D. Sackoh, said the items include buckets with faucets, chlorine, detergents, as well as personal protective equipment (PPEs) valued at US$12,275.

Sackoh named Margibi, Bong, Grand Bassa, Nimba, Grand Cape Mount and Bomi counties as the six counties that benefited from the MOLAJ’ gesture.

According to the MOLAJ Official, 3,973 persons, comprising 555 families as well as 181 public institutions are beneficiaries of the gesture in the six counties.

He indicated that MOLAJ in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW) and the Liberian Labour Movement (LLM) with initial support from the United Steel Workers Humanity Fund (USWHF), is working on an awareness project to combat the Ebola virus.
