BUCHANAN, October 20 (LINA) - Citizens of Grand Bassa County residing in Monrovia have presented food and non-food items to the county’s Ebola Taskforce to enhance its capacity to fight the disease.

Items presented for distribution in three electoral districts include rice, Clorox and powder soap.

Speaking during the presentation of the items recently, the Managing Director of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Corporation (LPRC), T. Nelson Williams, called for a united front in tackling the Ebola virus in Grand Bassa.

Accepting the items, Superintendent Etweda Cooper noted that Liberians would “love to celebrate an Ebola-free Christmas,” and called on everyone to adhere to the measures outlined by the Ministry of Health to defeat the virus.
