ROBERTSPORT, Jan 27 (LINA) -The City Mayor of Robertsport in Grand Cape Mount County, James Kiazolu, has urged citizens of the county to put aside their sectional, tribal, religious and political differences and forge reconstruction of the county.
He said it would be impossible for the leadership of the county to achieve its intended development goals, when citizens are not willing work together as one people.
Mayor Kiazolu made the statement at the weekend in Robertsport when he performed the induction ceremony of the Vice Governor of the Vai ethnic group, Mr. Zamba Mandemasa.
He observed that when the citizens work together they will be able to formulate programs that will support government’s national development agenda.
Meanwhile, Vai Vice Governor Mandemasa has thanked the citizens for his preferment and promised to work with the community so that their development agenda would be implemented.
