By Korboi K. Gbelewala, LINA Lofa County Correspondent

VOINJAMA, October 14 (LINA) - Lofa County Superintendent George Sekou Dunor has assured citizens of Lofa County that his administration will prioritize security, health, education as well as improved road network throughout the county in 2015.

He said his administration will also promote private sector initiatives that will create jobs for the people with emphasis on business.

According to the Liberia News Agency, Superintendent Dunor gave the assurance Monday when several chiefs and elders paid a courtesy call on him at his office in Voinjama, Lofa County.

More than 25 chiefs and elders from across Lofa County paid an official visit to Supt. Dunor to discuss the way forward in the fight against the Ebola virus in the county.

He assured the people of Lofa County that his administration will ensure security protection for citizens at all levels during this period of the Ebola outbreak in the county.

Superintendent Dunor said the people of Lofa County have “suffered too long” as a result of the 14-year civil war and now the Ebola outbreak, and stressed the urgent need to provide a secure environment for them to freely go about their normal lives without fear or molestation.
