Supt. Dunor Urges Lofians To Foster Peace. Development....
BY Korboi K. Gbelewala, LINA Lofa County Correspondent

VOINJAMA, October 13 (LINA) - Lofa County Superintendent George Sekou Dunor has admonished citizens to bury their differences and foster peace, unity and reconciliation for the overall development of the county..

He said it will be impossible for Lofa to attain its development agenda during this time of the Ebola crisis when its people are divided along political, religious and tribal lines, adding that such differences have the propensity to undermine peace and tranquility in the county.

Superintendent Dunor made the call in an exclusive interview with the Liberia News Agency
Monday in Voinjama City, Lofa County.

The Lofa County official emphasized that if conflict between prominent citizens, organizations and tribes are not resolved now, it might delay the county’s development agenda.

Meanwhile, Dunor has disclosed plans to convene a meeting of all stakeholders in the county to discuss the rehabilitation and reconstruction of farm-to-market roads to ensure the free movement of citizens as well as goods and services.
