By Korboi K. Gbelewala, Lofa County Correspondent

VOINJAMA, October 11 (LINA)-A one-day outreach training program for pastors across Lofa County has ended in Voinjama city.

According to the Liberia News Agency, the training was intended to train pastors in providing awareness and sensitization to their congregations and residents of their various communities in the fight against Ebola.

Speaking at the end of the outreach training Thursday in Telbomia Quarter in Voinjama City, Rev. Jeremiah Zayzay who coordinated the one-day outreach training program, urged pastors to take advantage of the Ebola awareness training and spread Ebola prevention messages to their congregations and community residents  across Lofa County.

Rev. Zayzay pointed out that they as Church leaders and members must serve as main conduits in the spread of Ebola messages, if they must succeed in winning more souls during this fight against Ebola in the county.

According to LINA, Rev. Zayzay cautioned pastors and church members to win more souls for Christ during this time of the Ebola crisis in the county.

Rev. Zayzay has meanwhile commended the county authorities and the Lofa County Health Team for the sacrifices they continue to make for their citizens during this Ebola crisis which has claimed the lives of many citizens in the county.

The Liberian prelate is at the same time urging religious leaders and the Christian and Muslim communities to take the lead in the fight against Ebola by helping to sensitize their congregations during regular worship and prayer times.

According to LINA, the one-day outreach training program brought together more than 30 Pastors from across Lofa County.
