No Ebola Case At Sime Darby, Says Administrator

By David Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, October 8 (LINA) – The Administrator of the Sime Darby (Liberia) Clinic in Gbar, Bomi County, A. Diatiata Kromah, has said the clinic has recorded no case of Ebola since the outbreak of the disease in the country in March.

Kromah, who is also Sime Darby Representative on the Bomi County Task Force, also disclosed that the clinic has not closed its doors to the public since the outbreak of the disease.

He made the disclosure in an interview with the Liberia News Agency at the close of the regular monthly Bomi County Ebola Task Force meeting held in the auditorium of the Government Hospital in Tubmanburg on Tuesday, October 7.

According to him, whenever suspected Ebola patients were brought to the clinic, they were transferred to the Liberia Government Hospital in Tubmanburg.

Meanwhile, Kromah has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to making additional donations to the Task Forces of Grand Cape Mount and Bomi counties to help eradicate the disease in the two counties.

He informed LINA that his company last week donated rice, chlorine, soap, sanitizers and other Ebola preventive materials to community care centers in both counties.
