Voinjama Multilateral High Administration, PTA Design Strategy

By Korboi Gbelewala, Lofa County Correspondent

VOINJAMA, Jan 26 (LINA) –The Administration and Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) of the Voinjama Multilateral High School in Lofa County have formulated a strategy of labeling students who perform poorly in their lesson.

The measure targets mainly senior and delinquent students who fail in two or three subjects in each period test.

Under the strategy, delinquent students will be given red t-shirts with the inscription ‘Delinquent Student’ on the back to wear to school, while a senior student in similar category will be prevented from wearing the senior neck-tie their colleagues wear.

Disclosing this Saturday in an interview with the Liberia News Agency in Voinjama, Vice Principal for Administration, Zogbo Kabbah, said the strategy is aimed at reducing the mass failure of senior and delinquent students.

Mr. Kabbah disclosed that since the implementation of the strategy at the beginning of this academic year, students of the school are taking their lessons seriously.
