BOPOLU, October 4 (LINA) - The Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL), Dr. Joseph Mills Jones, has donated a consignment of assorted anti-Ebola materials and food supplies to a number organizations in Gbarpolu County to fight the Ebola disease.

The items donated are 50 hand-washing buckets, 150 Ebola flyers, 10bags of 25kg rice, one carton of vegetable oil and one carton of chlorine, among others.

Presenting the items on behalf of Governor Jones, the head of a three-man team from the Grand Coalition of Liberian Organizations (GRANDCOALIO), Morris S. Massaley, said the gesture was the Governor’s way of identifying with the groups in these difficult times.

He also gave the Muslims and Christian Communities in Bopolu 2 bags of 25kg rice, one carton of detergent, five hand-washing buckets, 10 flyers, one carton of vegetable oil and posters.

Receiving the items, the President of the Liberia Fellowship of Full Gospel Ministers, Collins Mantor, and the head of Gbarpolu Central Mosque, Momo Kanneh, expressed gratitude to Jones for sharing his love with them in the midst of the Ebola disease.

The GRANDCOALIO also distributed similar supplies to several towns, villages and districts within the county.
