Court Detains Man For Terroristic Threat, Assault

MONROVIA, September 23 (LINA) - A 30-year old man, Nuymah Harris, has been detained at the Monrovia Central Prison for the crime of Terroristic Threat and Aggravated Assault pending Court trial.
According to the charge sheet issued by the Magisterial Court at the Temple of Justice, on September 4, 2014, accused Harris was arrested at his 4th Street residence, investigated and charged with the crimes of Terroristic Threat and Aggravated Assault.
The Court’s charge sheet further said that Complainant Lovetta Bernard of the 12th Street community explained that Harris, her children's father, on September 4, 2014 visited where she was living with a relative and met her sitting with her current lover, Junior Zoe.
She said upon arrival Harris met her explaining to a relative about his condition that looked like someone going crazy and needing treatment.
She said upon hearing this, Harris got annoyed and took hold of the kitchen knife and stabbed her three times on her arm, threatening to kill her anytime.
The charge sheet further disclosed that during police preliminary investigation, accused Harris voluntarily admitted stabbing complainant Bernard and also threatening to kill her.
