By David Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, September 16 (LINA) - House Speaker Alex J. Tyler is calling on residents of Bomi County to stop shifting blame as the government battles to eradicate the Ebola Virus from the country.

He said shifting blame at each other at this critical time in the nation’s history will not augur well for the good of the country, adding, “ it will only divert the attention of the government and the international community.”

Speaker Tyler said the Ebola virus is a deadly disease that will require collective efforts and a united front to combat and eradicate from the country.

Speaking at the weekend in Tubmanburg, Bomi County in an interview with journalists, Tyler observed that in the process of fighting the Ebola disease there will be mistakes and mistrust along the way.

“It is important at this time for people to put aside politics and stand together as a nation to fight the disease that is claiming the lives of the people,” the Speaker said.

He said as the nation continues to fight the Ebola disease, those things considered to be wrong will be corrected with the collective efforts of all.

Speaker Tyler urged government officials and the citizenry to have all hands on the deck to enhance government’s effort to eradicate the Ebola disease from the country.
