By Robert Dixon

MONROVIA September 15 (LINA) - The Chinese Chamber of Commerce Monday donated a consignment of anti-Ebola materials to the Ministry of Labor to enhance the ongoing fight against the disease.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony in Congo Town, the Second Secretary of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Zhang Ke Jun, said the consignment, which includes 12 cartons of gloves, 12 nose masks, and 15 pieces of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) is to be used in case of an emergency outbreak of the disease at the Labor Ministry.

According to him, a similar donation has been made to other ministries and agencies as the entity’s way of identifying with government in its battle against the Ebola disease.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Ministry of Labor, the Assistant Labor Minister for Regional Labor Affairs, Mr. Prince M. Konvah, thanked the Chinese Chamber of Commerce for the assistance and promised that the materials would be used for the intended purpose.

Mr. Konvah said the fight against the Ebola virus is of serious concern to the   Liberian Government and that it will do all within its power to eradicate the virus from the country.
