Maryland Supt. Clarifies Report Of Ebola Cases

By John Bropleh, LINA Maryland County Correspondent

HARPER, September 15 (LINA) -The acting Superintendent of Maryland County, Nathaniel S. Toe, has clarified that the two Ebola cases reported recently from Pleebo originated from Grand Kru, not Maryland County.

He made the clarification recently at the County Administration Building during an Ebola update meeting which brought together all agencies of government and partners, including UNMIL.

He disclosed during the meeting that the clinician, Moses Smith, who died in the car at the Pleebo check-point came from Grand Kru, and  that the rest of the passengers who were in the car with him have been quarantined in Pleebo for a  period of 21 days.
