Supt. Dunor Commends Lofians For Fight Against Ebola

VOINJAMA, September 10 (LINA) - Lofa County Superintendent George Sekou Dunor has commended citizens of Lofa County for their intense role in fighting the Ebola disease in the county.
He observed that adherence to advice from health workers and the preventive measures against the Ebola virus has brought some level of improvement in the fight against the disease in the county.
According to the Liberia News Agency Superintendent, Dunor made the commendation at a senior staff meeting held in the Voinjama Administration Building, following his return from a three district tour.
He said in every district visited over the weekend, he noticed that many affected Ebola communities and districts in the county had realized the danger of the deadly virus and are adhering to measures to contain the spread of the disease.
Superintendent Dunor has, meanwhile, reiterated his call for religious and traditional leaders as well as civil society and youth organizations to be proactive and continue to serve as main conduits in providing awareness on the Ebola virus.
In a related development, Superintendent Dunor has commended the Liberian Government and all of its international partners, including WFP, MSF, Plan Liberia, Red Cross, as well as other actors and prominent citizens, for their continued support in the fight to curb the disease.
