Cape Mount Get Town, Village Ebola Task Forces

ROBERTSPORT, September 9 (LINA) - Grand Cape Mount County Superintendent Imam Mohammed Paasewe has established Ebola Task Forces in all towns and villages to heighten the Ebola fight in the county.
He said setting up Task Forces in towns and villages is intended to enable the citizens buttress government’s effort in curbing spread of the deadly virus in the country.
According to the Liberia News Agency (LINA), Superintendent Paasewe made the disclosure Tuesday during a meeting he held with citizens of Damballa Town in Porkpa District.
He said each town and village has a seven-man team headed by a Town Chief and comprising two youths, women and men each group.
He said the heads of the various task forces have been mandated to submit daily reports on Ebola cases to the district commissioner, who is chairman of the district task force, for proper redress.
Superintendent Paasewe has meanwhile admonished rural dwellers to observe the Ebola prevention measures put in place by the ministry of health.
He said Ebola can only be eradicated when citizens work with the health team in the county for the betterment of all.
