Senator Taylor Donates To Bong County Health Team

GBARNGA, September 7 (LINA) - Bong County Senator Jewel Taylor has donated several Ebola-related materials to the Bong County Health Team.

The donation which is the second since the outbreak of the disease in the county include six desk phone for the establishment of a call center, 100 bags of mineral water, 50 hand washing plastic buckets, and two large buckets of chlorine for use by the Ebola treatment center, and 10 bags of 25kg rice, according to the Liberia News Agency.

Presenting the materials at the weekend at the regular Ebola Briefing in Phebe Suakoko, Taylor said having a call center will seriously help in the fight against the disease.

She lauded the county health team and partners for their achievements in the fight and hoped that citizens will adhere to all medical advices to stay saved.

She thanked the Urey Foundation, Monrovia Club Breweries and Lone Star Cell and NOVA Phone GSM companies for helping to make the donation possible.

Responding, Bong County Health Officer, Dr. Samson K. Arzoaquoi, thanked Senator Taylor for the donation and promised to make maximum use of the items.
