Kupee Foundation Donates To Ebola-Affected Communities

VOINJAMA, September 1 (LINA) - The Sumo G.Kupee Humanitarian Foundation has presented food and non-food items to Ebola-affected communities in Lofa County.
The communities include Barkedou, Zangota, Voinjama, Kolahun, Tengia and Foya and the holding center in Foya City.
The items, estimated to cost US$6,480 , include 150 bags of rice, 150 buckets, 35 mattresses, 1,500 pieces of gloves, 150 safety buckets , Clorox and powered soap.
Making the presentation recently in Voinjama to the Lofa County administration, Senior Senator Sumo G.Kupee said the donation is the foundation’s way of identifying with the people of Lofa County during the Ebola outbreak in the county.
Receiving the materials, Lofa County Superintendent George Sekou Dunor praised Senator Kupee for the gesture, terming it as timely.
The donation was already been distributed among the targeted beneficiaries.
In a related development, Senator Kupee has offered to adopt the one-year-old child who survived from the deadly Ebola virus in Lofa County.
According to LINA, The child lost his father and mother to the Ebola virus, sources told the Liberia News Agency.
