Gbarpolu Circuit Court Closes For Clean-up

By Emmanuel Mondaye, LINA Gbarpolu County Correspondent

BOPOLU, August 22 (LINA) - The 16th Judicial Circuit Court in Gbarpolu County was closed temporarily on Thursday as its staff carried out a massive clean-up exercise of the facilities.

According to the Liberia News Agency, the exercise covered the external and interior parts of the building, including the offices of the Judge, County Attorney, Clerk and Public Defender as well as the restrooms and cafeteria.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency Thursday, County Sheriff Richard Hinnah said the exercise will give the facility “a better look,” adding that it will continue across the county “to give government courthouses the necessary facelift.”

Hinneh said the entire surrounding of the court was also cleared to pave the way for re-demarcation of the court’s land by government surveyors.
