Maryland Organizes Ebola Taskforce

By: John Bropleh, LINA Maryland County Correspondent

HARPER, August 21(LINA) - Acting Maryland Superintendent Nathaniel Toe has organized an Ebola Task Force to oversee activities that will ensure that the county remains Ebola free in southeastern Liberia.

He spoke recently in Harper during a meeting he convened to address citizens about the fight against the Ebola virus in the county.

Superintendent Toe assured the citizens during the meeting that he would do everything to save the lives of Marylanders during the state of emergency.

The Maryland County Superintendent then called on residents, including local officials, to get actively involved in the fight against the disease by disseminating information on prevention methods.

The Maryland Superintendent has, meanwhile, warned all business people in the county against hiking the prices of basic commodities as a result of the current situation facing the country.

Superintendent Toe threatened that any businessman caught hiking prices during this state of emergency will be arrested and prosecuted.
