NGO Official Lauds Govt’s Efforts In Ebola Fight

MONROVIA, August 21 (LINA) - The Executive Director of a local non-governmental organization, Touching Humanity In Need of Kindness (THINK),  has lauded government efforts in combating the Ebola virus which has claimed several lives.

Speaking Wednesday in an interview with the Liberia News Agency at her ELWA Office, Rosana Glaypohkpay Schaack, said the stringent measures put in place to curtail the rapid spread of the the Ebola virus were commendable and solution-oriented.

She mentioned that the State of Emergency, followed by the curfew, were crucial decision that would help curtail the spread of the Ebola virus in affected communities.

Meanwhile, Madam Schaack has called on the government to consider the training of volunteers who will spread the message about Ebola and to counsel people suspected of the virus.
