Bomi Task Force Boss Denies Alleged Shooting In Klay

By David Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, August 19 (LINA) - The Coordinator of the Government Task Force in Bomi County, Samuel Brown, has described as ‘false and misleading’ allegation of a shooting incident at the Klay checkpoint in the county.

Brown, who is also Superintendent of Bomi County, told the Liberia News Agency at the weekend that “the county is stable and the people are moving freely.”

He, however, said that there is a restriction of movements at checkpoints in the county, noting that the restriction is necessary to curtail the spread of the Ebola virus in the county.

Superintendent Brown said people should understand that measures instituted by government are intended to eradicate the Ebola virus and urged them to cooperate for their safety.
