NPA Donates US$1.5K To Buchanan Anti-Ebola Basket

Johnson Liway, LINA Grand Bassa County Correspondent

BUCHANAN, August 14 (LINA) - The National Port Authority (NPA) has donated US$1,500 to the Buchanan City Corporation (BCC) as its assistance in the fight against the spread of the deadly Ebola virus.

Speaking at a press briefing in Buchanan Wednesday, Buchanan Mayor Julia Bono said the donation was “timely” and assured that it will be used to purchase items required to combat the spread of the epidemic in Bassa.

She then thanked the Management and Staff of the NPA for the support and hoped other companies operating in Grand Bassa County will follow the example of the NPA.
